The Internet IS THE COMPUTER! Much like several years ago the saying was The Network is the Computer. The point is that it is the Internet offerings and the information on the sites are whats important, not the platform. What is there to understand? This is not about PCs or Apples or Microsoft or Netscape. You say, "Sure the internet is the medium of choice". Huh? There is no other medium except for dial in access to controlled networks. Disney and Infoseek are going to make it based on whether or not people see the movies, visit the site(s), and buy from the featured vendors.
