Now if true, THAT will be a BIG seller. Boy, I have a whole TON of vinyl I would LOVE to put on CDs. (As long as they manage to resolve the scratch and hiss problems--we have gotten so used to listening to music without that, that it would be hard to go back to what we considered high fidelity only 15 or so years ago!)

That's already possible, isn't it? Or is this an instance where the PC world is ahead of the Mac world?
