Interest rates going from (roughly) 1% to 2% should not "make or break" a situation.

It is things like Brazil or Mexico raising rates from, say, 18% to 28% that really change matters in a big way for borrowers.

Clark, all:

I was reading Lucent's 1998 Annual Report. In it, they detailed a 3G solution that would plug into the existing infrastructure (or words to that effect). It appears that Lucent may opt for CDMA-2000, instead of the alternative, due to that statement.

When I go home, I'll find it in the Annual Report and post the page number.
