...The discovery news crew entered the forest to document the destruction and carnage. The stench of blood from mutilated bear carcasses permeated the early afternoon air, it was sickening. 280+ hunters had entered the woods, and now, with traps full of panicking bears the "turkey shoot" had begun. One hunter mentioned that he knew of another 25 or 30 hunters on the way...pushing the potential total to well over 300! the great grizzlies at the base of the ridge had perished sometime during the night, their lifeless bodies were nowhere to be found. Undoubtedly they had been taken away for mounting...their legacy to be remembered forever, in the form of a headed bear rug. ...there were now nearly 286 hunters throughout the woods with the number threatening to climb... People have said even better things about the biotech stocks in its mania period. See what happens now. Shorted more at 284, and plan to cover in the 230's or lower again. I still strongly believe shorting internet stocks with good timing will be the best investment idea in 1999, just like buying internet stocks in 1998 was the best move.
