Paul and all,

First, I want to congratulate all the INTC longs who have had to endure waves of ignorance from the likes of Paul Fiondella, Fucchi, Chen, etc.

Second, I want to congratulate Craig B. and the boys for the tremendous success we are seeing with respect to Xeon. As unbelievable as it seems, Xeon has made most people completely forget what Intel has in store down the road. I haven't heard the word Merced in a long time and when you hear the analysts finally coming to their senses and praising Intel, they don't even mention Merced's future prospects. Of course, they usually don't look beyond 1 or 2 quarters <ggg>.

Re: Turdlack

Does anyone remember last time Tommy woke up from a nice long Intel bear hibernation?? It was in the Spring of 1996 after the stock had already recovered significantly from it's recent lows which he helped establish with his downgrade and negative hype. Once again he is one of the very last to "see the light". At any rate, I hope history repeats itself because last time he turned positive after being negative for so long....the stock went on a major major tear.

Judging from his most recent comments you would think that he just discovered the internet and E-commerce. You mean the internet is accelerating the demand for PC hardware??? WOW!!! What a friggin brainstorm!!

Many of us have known for years that Tommy is a loser but what really put him over the edge this time, IMO, is when he downgraded Intel's long term rating. At that very moment he lost any shred of credibility he ever had. Intel will have good times and not so good times but to suggest, as he did, that Intel's long term prospects were at best average was equivalent to wearing a neon sign that reads "I am a complete idiot with no vision or understanding of this industry or the evolution of the global technology revolution". Of course, this sign would be totally appropriate.

O.K. boys and girls....back to your regularly scheduled program.
