given intc's pe and their confidence to publicly announce plan to demolish chip competition for sub $1000 PCs expect the stock to hit $190 in 6 months barring serious market downturn. split your money between msft & intc & wait for earnings releases. why make it more difficult or risky?

Fred, nice post. I want to second your praise of Craig Barrett. He came in at a very difficult time for Intel and only now is he getting his due. In a sense, he is coming out of Andy's shadow. Earnings release next week should be his coronation. His emphasis on cost efficiencies coupled with his strategy to attack the low-end with the same vigor as the high-end is proving to be the winning formula.

Fred - Re: Kurlak & "I am a complete idiot with no vision or understanding of this industry or the evolution of the global technology revolution".

Merrill Lynch should put this sign up over Kurlak's office door.

And about Kurlak "just discovering the Internet" - I believe you are 100000% Correct.

Kurlak is a Wall Street mole - he never sees the world as it really is.
