The Madera Property will never turn into a city where you break it up and sell 1 acre plots. (In 1955 we bought 900 timber property at $12.00 per acre in North Arkansas)Today is worth big bucks.. The Madera land is cheap, few roads, no elect, no well water, no Kmart. The madera land offers nothing, but if you are a lumber company and know how to move trees, you got a value. The land is not on the shore line of Brazil, but in the middle of the country. The land is so cheap, the gov will give you small plots (25 acres) if you will live on it. It a wilderness, - no new car lots, hotels, nothing.

Madera has so much land the the current timber is growing 17% faster per year than the company can cut it. The problem is Madera is unable to clear cut. They can only cut selected trees per acre which meet gov requirements. You can talk about the Madera land for a couple of hours.
