Herb, I have to admit my stock manipulation theory was shot down in flames by one of Apple's finest analysts during Eric Yang's investors meeting, yesterday. The analyst is Lou M. (the one who is bullish on Apple).

Apparently, he periodically skims through the message boards, and brought to everyone's attention that some nutty poster (me) has been posting a ridiculous theory about stock manipulation. Ironically, he was responding to my question when he made this observation, not realizing my identity (ouch!).

His explanation for the recent price behavior was "Apple is an emotional stock," and "large funds and investors come and go, causing volatility."

If he says it, it must be true!
