Eric, Dougerdad, Thread-

It's good to hear tidings of booming RAID sales. I wonder, though, about the long term future of this business. As NT works its way in the commercial world- and NT 5, aka Windows 2000, due this year is likely to be a strong competitor to Unix- software RAIDs may become more of a factor. With NT 4, Microsoft NT supports RAID level 0, 1 and 5 as an inherent part of the OS. Of course, this is a low end solution compared to what companies like MYLX are peddling, but I think it points to a vulnerability in MYLX's business.

Any thoughts?

Regards,

Larry
