Mr.Pink, YOu may want to let your loyal followers know more about how to trade in Canada. I know you tried today but it seems like many Americans treat Canada as a foreign country or something ( that was a bit of humour there ) Your suggestion of going to a discount broker is a good one however, I know that if Americans look to open a Canadian account, they can run into troubles if the brokerage house does not have brokers with the proper licenses in place to handle US clients. The best part of getting set up with a Canadian discounter though is that you can receive realtime quotes on all exchanges US and Canadian for free over the phone using a North American toll free line.
