Mark, I don't know for sure that he shorted the PUTs, I was only speculating. I believe your answer #2 is correct. -Don <<2- He can buy back the put contracts between the current bid/ask and he actually received more money when he opened the contracts than paid for closing the contracts.>> P.S.
