Is Schwab E-Bill enables?

It seems to be. The screen shots on the brochure Schwab sent me shows checkfree's same screens (www.mybills.com/schwab). One of the links on the left is "New Mail" -- both New messages and New E-bills.

I don't use any of the companies that currently use Checkfree's e-bill, but I'm looking forward to AMEX using it someday.

Regards,

Harry

Benny:

All this talk about different pricing schemes for different customers sounds way too much like the long-distance pricing chatter we heard pre-1998 when "simplification" and flat-rate pricing became the watchwords for Sprint, AT&T, etc.

CKFR needs to recognize the ill will created in their customer base from a hodgepodge of price points for basically the same service. Granted, most folks have no idea what others pay for the service, or that CKFR is behind the curtain, but it seems to me that simplification and a basic, one price offering is needed here, much like what Bell Atlantic did with their wireless product in the eastern U.S.

Of course, if their strategy is to remain in the background (trusted agent) and Pete has no say in how Quicken or the banks price the product, then CKFR may not have much choice here.

Just another outgrowth of the conflict between "going direct" and their current strategy, I guess. They need resolution here, or IMO there will be others.
