Mr. D,

I think there's a misunderstanding. I do think that UNLESS they are in YOUR name they will be listed as part of the float by the DTC. Your broker does NOT have to officially LEND them out.

IMHO, calling certs ONLY means to get them issued in YOUR name. Your broker could probably still HOLD them for you but they must have YOUR name and address on the certificate.
