Agreed. And the supposed "acknowledgements" thrown XOMA's way sound like a brush-off to me. Sort of like, "Thanks, it's been good to know you."

That's the trouble with Xoma. No one respects us in the morning.

I agree in that I certainly didnt buy more... I bought some great stock during the "tax selling" season and am not about to pay a buck higher because of this. However wouldnt the company do what it felt was the best deal for them??? What does GENE have to pay if they take it back now?
