Speaking of jini, I saw this article about cisco's new home networking strategy. Any ideas if this is something that competes with jini, or is complementary? dailynews.yahoo.com Dave

Mephisto, Where did you see the announcement for Jini? Do you know where the presentation will take place? Scott did a demonstration of Jini at the Java Business Expo in December, and a couple of months earlier at the NY Internet Expo Bill Joy who created it discussed the significance. His statement was that just as HTML allowed the internet to communicate with people, Jini allows embedded computer devices to communicate to the network. ITS A REALLY BIG THING. Thanks, Michael
