Joe Kernan (CNBC) just reported that the move in Micron in the last couple of days is due to the fact that one of the large Korean DRAM manufacturers has stopped accepting orders for 64M chips because it can't meet current orders.

Carl,

I think MU is starting to break down off highs, sell longs and buy PUTs.

I don't believe Abby plays that game. Plenty of pundits/firms do, but not her. During the bleak days of August and September she was saying "no recession". How many analysts were saying that? She was saying "Dow 9300 easily by new years". How much closer could you get? If she is still bullish, that means she doesn't see any reason for people to let go of their long-term holdings and risk getting whip-sawed in addition to taking the tax hit. I believe this is a lady that does her homework.

BTW She will be on WSW w/Louis Rukeyser tomorrow nite--don't miss it.
