Uncle Frank, You make a good argument. I am starting to realize that it is not just a craze. I probably won't buy them though -- would rather buy options on blue chip techs. I might buy Amazon on a big pull back (but i don't think it will happen).
You are right -- driving force is the incredible liquidity.

Of course, Microsoft is a great Internet stock. Think about the future of Microsoft and it all says Internet, Internet, Internet.

I see today where they have an announcement to link technology with their partner General Magic to bring MSN Sidewalk to the Auto PC all using a Voice User Interface, linking information found from restaurant searches or whatever with a GPS system to take you to the location. They probably even will book the ticket or reserve a table.

This is all out of The Road Ahead. It's the master plan.

absolutely on target. the tulip comparison is being made by "wise" wall street types with a stake in high brokerage fees, disempowered investors, and business as usual. Individual investors are bidding up AMZN, YHOO, EBAY, etc at 8$ per trade and it kills them. Screw em. They've been disintermediated. Fired.
