Digital. Rolling out digital is not the same as rolling out VOD. Digital has been in trials on HFC for over 10 years and essentially is a way to add more channels by digitizing real-time analog broadcast video, sending it down HFC, then converting it back to analog (NTSC) at the addressible STB. The commercialization delay was due to cost and lack of industry standards (ie: OPEN CABLE). Yes, IVOD and many other interactive services need the underlying digital backbone in place before these services can be trialed, and that is what is will happen over the next 12-18 months. Certainly this is a step towards introduction of IVOD, which is good for all server vendors, but I don't expect any serious orders that will improve either the top line or bottom line CCUR numbers for a good while yet. BTW you are developing an interesting case of the "MacDonald spin." I'd recommend a good ointment.
