Gavin Trott is a good Ausie wine expert he has a site:
auswine.com.au

Robin Garr's Wine Lovers Discussion Group includes members from all over the world, I have posted there for 3 years now and they have several very well informed people re: Australian and NZ vineyards, etc.
wine-lovers-page.com

This is a great place to ask questions as many here are professionals writing for the business from France, England, Spain, Australia and of course several writers and vintners from California. Try it.

I like the New Zeeland Sauvignon Blancs, they are unique, especially the Cloudy Bay. Sharon

I second Sharon's comments on Cloudy Bay's Sauvignon Blancs. When I visited New Zealand, I was really impressed by Kumeu River's nad Martinborough's Chardonnays as well. Although there are some exceptions, I was underwhelmed by the Cabernets and Pinot Noirs by and large. Te Mata's Cabernet Merlot Hawke's Bay Coleraine is terrific with the baby lamb chops.

P.S. If you've never been there before, try the mussels, which are wonderful!
