Thanks for the URL, even though it was an older article. I'll try and be a little more regular with my posts. I noticed we've gain a few new people on this thread - this is good!

I'm out here in Lincoln, Nebraska on business and I've also been talking to several people, with regards to ECD - they were totally unaware of the company or how advanced the batteries have gotten. When I told these same people about the other areas that the company was involved with, they decided to buy for the long-term.

I've got a question for you. I tried posting this question in the past and I realized I did not express myself very well. It was my understanding that Sanyo, or someone, had improved the consumer NiMH batteries by roughly 50%. If that same technology is applied to the auto battery, wouldn't that increase the range from 372 miles per charge (Tour DeSol), to around 500-600 miles per charge? TIA

I realize that Mr. Lowrey is the former vice chairman of Micron Technology but, didn't we have a JV with Micron Technology in the past? Does anyone recall what happen with that? TIA
