Painvestor,

I believe LG/Hyundai do not run all their fabs below .25 microns nor do they have the funds to upgrade to that point. MU is running all theirs at .21 microns with .18 upgrades in the works.(TXN by 6/99)

Far different scenario for MU.

The demand has been this way for three months now with most of the suppliers, thats why the spot has not seen the large qtys., except maybe some older slower devices, but those parts are still selling well.
I would call it a under supply but not a shortage, maybe in Q3/Q4 when all heck breaks out then we will be calling it a shortage.

mu was $37 on tits way to $20. i wouldn't throw rocks since your glass house has already done been broke ;-) oh, and you fundamenbtal analysis (japanese insider and all) was COMPLETELY WRONG when posted. just want a little context to current factual claims you are making.
