stil krazy,

thanks for sharing-interesting thoughts! I also like JT's upfront "lay-out-the-strategy and go execute it" business approach.

I also found it interesting (if the earlier post is accurate) that a shareholder spoke with John Francis today and he was "unaware" of the Helena/Bloomburg release.

If that is the case, expect ABTX not to lay down but to continue to emphasize their (rightous) position. On an intraday basis, it looks like the stock went from its high of the day ($15 3/4) to hit a low of $14 about an hour later (after the news came out on Helena). It also looks like the stock shook off the news to move upward to close at $14.5 (with a bid/ask of $14 9/16 to 5/8 --which probably bodes well for tomorrow and beyond).

Any other technical opinions from others?

Kraz:

Great, great spin. If you ain't in the PR biz you missed your true calling. Guess we should all keep in mind that everything, everything that happens to ABTX is positive.

Let me see if I have the suit thing down pat:

We issued a very simple press release...

(which basically said that the company we we're looking to buy was cooking the books and falling apart)

...and we stand by it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, that man is the shorts best friend. I'm just glad he's on my side.

Hey, anyone else wondering how those two other acquisitions are going? I'm sure if there were any problems with 'em we'd be hearing about it, right....right?
