THREAD ---Very confusing about MSFT e-commerce future ?
icrosoft, AT&T held Internet talks

WASHINGTON (CBS.MW) -- AT&T (T) and Microsoft (MSFT) held
talks about AT&T buying the Microsoft Network and possibly other
Microsoft media properties, USA Today reported. The newspaper, quoting
people close to both companies, said in an article published Friday that the
talks were generated from the top, including a dinner at Microsoft Chairman
Bill Gates' house attended by AT&T CEO C. Michael Armstrong. AT&T
appears to have decided not to buy the properties for now, while Microsoft
considers the talks to be ongoing. (USA Today).

I agree, I just think they will be all over CNBC in the near future saying that since the economy is strong the bias may change.

From companies' point of view, o% inflation means they can't increase the selling price of their products due to fierce competition in the market , but companies still need to pay salary to their employees , and interest on their debts, if the interest is held at its current level, it will be a huge burden for companies to financial their debts, because the ratio of interest to inflation is too high at this point; So, either FED
cut the rate to reduce the companies' interest burden of increase inflation to increase
companies' profit margin so that they have enough profit to finance their high interest of debt. So , whether the rate is too high or too low is a relative idea, which is
always refed to the inflation.
