i think you're way off. i've read very good research from several brokerage/analysts that the small to mid-size market is where the fastest growth in ERP/SCM will occur and that these smaller firms targeted at vertical industries should do very well. you can have your oracle; i'll take ifmx, ross, imic, psft, jdec, jdas, infm etc.

btw, i think orcl has real problems because they're apps are to tied to their db. a company like ross can install quickly, solve y2k at the same time and use almost any base including msft.
