"Besides, if the refs hadn't blown the Rice call the 49ers wouldn't even be there."

Not only that, but they beat arguably the weakest team to ever reach the play-offs. Few people realize that Green Bay only beat one team with a winning record all season! Is that unbelievable or what! Ironically, that one team was San Fran.

Denver and the under on Intel.

Denver because they're still the best team. I'm amazed that people seem to be writing them off.

Intel for the under because a break in the Internet bubble will drag Intel down. In fact, it's too bad that fundamentals in Intel are so good--it would be a great short otherwise. As it is, I'll have to settle for other overvalued stocks that are deteriorating.

>>49ers aren't what they used to be. Reminds me of Dallas falling apart (getting old)

Jim, try telling that to Garrison Hearst (28), R.W. McQuarters (23), Marc Edwards (25), Terrell Owens (26), J.J. Stokes (27), Greg Clark (27), Junior Bryant (28) and all the other young Niners (including the incomparable Bryan Young - 27) that have made big impacts this year. The Niners are the only team in the NFL to have figured out how to rebuild while continuing their winning tradition.

I've been hearing "end of dynasty" stuff for the last 15 years, but we continue to win >10/year <g>.
