As in "Reminiscences of..." a great book.
Thanks for pointing out GM, I don't screen everything and somehow missed that one, to busy following my own stuff. You made a very important point about the market, does it imply sector rotation into these stocks (GM, Philip Morris, not internuts).

SO, GM is often considered a bellweather of the market. A bull market generally will have enough momentum for a continuation of at least 3 months if GM is at a new high. It topped out last spring about 3 months before the Dow peaked.

One of the few technical indicators left for the bears is the Transports. They are very close to confirming however.

Today marks the 3 month point from the Oct. bottom. If one believes in the 9 month cycle- then next week will be a real decision point between bull and bear. Will the bull continue for the 2nd third of the cycle or will it reverse?

GM is currently telling us what it thinks.
