The market must think that WCOM is going to get in on the bidding war for Air Touch. There is no other reason for the stock price to take such a hit. The market also seems to see a potential bid as a negative.

Anyone disagree??

Teddy, Looks like you got your wish on the Air Touch issue with WCOM's announcement of "no action".! Also FWIW A,T&T announced this afternoon that they do not want to buy Microsoft's MSN network this time.... Must be something in the water.... Sincerely, Doug F.
