( and brushing snow out of my hair - didn't get any food, but did get 93 items of soiled NBA paraphernalia thrown at me by passing cars)

I have this hunch ( 99% likely I am at least partly wrong) that '99 will be more like '95 on the Ampex charts ...... and then perhaps Bramson will able to say again (paraphrasing) " the turnaround is complete and the fun growth period should now begin" .

And thus 2000 will be more like '96. To me that means, if a rocket ride is still in this stock, 2000 is when it will begin ( maybe on sturdier footing this time). A prolonged share price rise then, on large volume, would enable AXC to clear the debt with stock offerings and conversion, and -a new direction set- they would be reborn again.
