"I am actually expecting a '29 crash scenario to happen
sometime in the future."

...this, from a guy named "Stockwell".
geez Dave.

It's funny you said that, because a lot of long time market analysts are starting to say that a major crash is inevitable for the Internet stocks. I wonder if it will happen. You sound pretty cool headed though, so you probably won't get hit, but all these newbie investors who think that an online account is a game have a shock coming to them.

I hope it doesn't happen though. Maybe we'll see a gradual degradation of PE's over time as people get a little saner. Who knows?

True, we could have a crash scenario, but there is an awful lot of money going into the market and it continues to increase which just keeps bringing the market up. When the money dries up, market will fall or falter regardless of sentiment, but with the baby boomers and everyone seeing the stock market as a place to park money, it seems like it is still a ways off. Turn back the clock to 1996 and there were multiple stories on the effect of the baby boomers and how it would be like this for the next 10 years. It also cautioned that when they start getting to retirement age, watch out.
