Historically speaking, real interest rates are still high and could easily come down another 100 basis points. The fact that he hasn't moved rates further down at the last FOMC meeting says, to me at least, that he knows the market is looking for reasons to move still farther up and he is not going to be accomodative until he absolutely needs to. What is more dangerous: asset inflation or high real interest rates?
