And look at the little sucker come roaring back today! RTQ says 24-13/16 at the moment, and rising, after having been down near 24 all day. Possible short-covering by day traders?

And I agree w/you that Q4's consensus is probably a couple/few cents short. In fact, Q4 may be really cool: remember the comment in the press release about expected > $0.20 being partially due to better-than-expected sales of the new 64-bit RAID controller? Well, that puppy is just beginning to ship (press release says available to OEMs in Jan. 99), it's early in the S-curve of sales, and they're saying that the disti version will be available later on. Why is that? Could it be that every one they can build at the moment is being soaked up by OEMs?

If that guess is correct, the revenues are just beginning for this high-dollar/high-margin product. Q4 just may push 30 cents if everything cooks our way.

And I also wonder if they've opened that new Singapore mfg. facility that was due to come online in December? You know - the one that's supposed to be even more efficient than the current one? More cost reductions, here we come.
