You should look at the carburetor on that snowthrower -it should have round cup or float bowl attached to the carburetor.At the bottom should be a 9/16 nut.Unscrew that and drop the float bowl.If it has sat for more than a year there will be an evaporated residue called varnish.This will be your last easy opportunity to remove it (dissolve with fresh gas).It is much easier to do now than sputtering out in the snow.

On your last use this spring drain the float bowl and you'll be ok for storage (tank also).

Used to race dirtbikes happened there too.
