Mike, a question:

>>Merritt, Doesn't matter. The specialist and market makers of the big
brokerages, now that they have been reinflated by AG, will take up any
slack.<<

I generally undertand banking, reserve requirements and the expansion of credit via AG's actions. How exactly does that increased liquidity flow through to the brokers. Are banks loaning money to brokers for the purchase of securities as well as buying securities themselves and picking up the slack from the weakened capital markets?
