Stratus divesture to happen on Monday or Tuesday (hence the spike). Ascend employees are getting couple of days off (again ?) as bonus for a great quarter. If Q4 is satisfactory then that will make it 4 quarters in a row of great results which beat estimates handily. Credibility is pretty much restored, Mory's speech delivery has improved and Ascend is looking at 1999 with estimated EPS of 1.75 to 1.80. Next generation TNT, GRF and GX550 on the horizon. BTW where are Cisco's next generation ATM products which were supposed to catch up to CBX500 and GX550? Cisco bulls still keep on touting Sprint's ION network when we know that Sprint has been using NT products. Thats all the flak they have in terms of deals won in the carrier arena. -hitesh

Im Baaaack! Yeah I know ASND spiked through 70 while I was on vacation and you all are thinking ole Mizzou hasnt posted for quite a while and look at ASND go. Well since you all are taking such GOOD care of my baby Ill just sit back for the next five years and keep my mouth shut and watch this puppy split a few hundred times. This is THE year ASND investors!!! Cant say enough, enough said already... GO ASND!!!!!!! (Besides, Mizzou won it's bowl game and men's BB is starting to gel so I'll enjoy both sides of the coin, business and pleasure. Maybe I should go back to Phoenix, when I left it was 69 degrees, KC reached a high of 8 today. Great to be back... Brrrrr.... Happy New Year ASNDers!!!!!!!)
