I think we are in a period where the rising tide is carrying all boats. It seems like only a month or 2 ago that SFA was downgraded and the stock was trading around 12 or 13. Now, it's almost 30. It goes to show the insight these analysts have to predict the future.

I have always hoped that CCUR would retain the R/T segment of the business and grow that segment while they continue to incubate IVOD. If at some time in the future they are losing focus because of the 2 divisions, then they should consider selling or spinning off R/T.

I almost always prefer to see small companies go it alone if they can. While having a white knight come along and offer a pretty premium over today's price has it's appeal, I really want to see how the CCUR story unfolds over the next couple of years. Millions of "streams" are available to those companies able to step up to the plate and hit a few home runs and I've a vested interest in one.

I will say that I'm encouraged by yesterday's action, especially since CCUR closed at the top of the trading channel. The last time we exploded above 4, the stock slammed into 5 like a brick wall and collapsed all the way down below 2. Note that 5 was an intraday high and not a closing high which I believe is a very big difference. Also the volume was not as strong yesterday as it was the last time we made the blowoff top.

As to when we will get the announcement from SFA or TW, I'm willing to bet that it won't be for awhile. If GIC is truly a few months to a year behind SFA in their rollout of set top boxes, it's probably to SFA's advantage to be as quiet as possible, at least in the short haul. They can deploy and debug more freely with a lead, IMO. Also, the MSO's seem to prefer to position themselves quietly while they test and begin to rollout digital services and new technology over cable.

As to earning release, October 30, 1998 was the last report so we should expect to see the next report at the end of January or early February.

BTW, I have a distant memory of a post of mine that asked if everyone had loaded up the boat when the stock was below 2. I don't think I even got a response at that time (although I could be wrong). I don't expect CCUR to go ballistic like some stocks, especially since there is a very large float for a company this size (over 50 Million shares in total).

ENOTS, I, like you, have many questions. My crystal ball isn't the best at short term calls, if it were, I would have kept my trading stash of CCUR and made 22% instead of what I did. I made good money on my trades, so I am thankful for that, but it just goes to show you... (or should I say me!).

We should get a good idea how well the stock is being viewed by Monday's action. I agree completely with you, next week should be very interesting and hopefully very profitable as well!
