I totally agree with you Steve. I have a cable modem and I'm using it right now to get to SI. Guess what. I'm not switching to ADSL when it gets here. Why should I when the cable modem works fine and its only $33 a month when you prepay a year, including no modem to buy.

I believe cable modems will win the consumer market for broadband access while ADSL may still win the business market.

have to disagree with you here. BEL wants to make money pure and simple, and they do not want the CLECs to be able to use what they are going to spend billions on.

yes, i blame the RBOCs for a lot of the delay. but some of the blame we need to lay at the feet of the FCC for taking so long to settle the matter.

This company needs no more bad news !

They have the next quarter to look forward to, it has to get better,
well unless they don't make enough money to keep going.

Get bought for or fool someone to give them MILLIONS and WSTL becomes an INTERNET star right when...
