<<...time is not my enemy, just the shorts>>

Well, you've got that kinda screwed up. If you like to think in such terms (and I wouldn't recommend such an emotional approach, BTW), you should consider the other longs your "enemies" and the shorts your "friends". Folks are often confused on this point.

Why?

Buying drives share prices up; selling drives share prices down. Other longs aren't going to help you out there, but shorts will. Every long is eventually going to sell, putting supply into the market; every short is eventually going to cover, putting demand into the market. Longs sit here on the board chatting it up so that they can increase the share price and then bail out to other longs. Fortunately, shorts will also be there to buy your shares.

Basic principles.

FWIW,
Anaxagoras

Oso, I am in a similar boat and

next weekend is a 3 day extravaganza since the markets will be closed on Monday. It is one month and a few days from next weekend to the serving of Roast Drake at the ABTX Annual Stockholder Meeting.

Would Kapitan Johnny do something next weekend? Stay tuned while we bring you this commercial.

Anaxagrass, one of the foolish "club" members says shorters are your best friends. Longs just sit around trying to maintain the price and eventually drive the price down by selling. Isn't that a hoot!

So the "foolish pucker" says he will save the day by eventually covering and driving the price. Comforting, isn't it.

Put your faith in the Foolish Pucker - not!

Let the sun shine!

Fortunately, I'm long all paid for stock so time is not my enemy, just the shorts.

Time and the owners of those Jan 15 calls ain't exactly best buds now are they? Could be a "strike sticky" week, we'll see.
