>>I would like to run internet and PC Quote on one computer and my execution system on the another. The execution system you get with most of the state-of-the-art remote trading firms includes PC Quote or S&P Comstock as the data-feed. Further-more, the features you get with the data-feed through the brokers are better than what you get with PC Quote and the cost is comparable. In essence, you are paying for the data-feed and getting the execution system for free. Plus, if you trade frequently enough the data-feed is free too. IMO the premier firms are MB Trading, CyberTrader, and grudgingly, Watley. Watley is the only one I've used, Cyber just recently denied me an account and MB just signed me on yesterday. The MB thread is the most active of the respective threads for each of these companies. I view that as I sign of health. Silence is pathological. I believe you are on the right track looking for a remote trading firm even if you only do a few trades a month. wily PS: This I am sure is very confusing to you until you have tried one of the systems. But, I will add that the software used by MB Trading, Watley, JPR Capital and many others is Townsend Analytic's RealTick III. The same software is used by PC Quote and S&P Comstock if you order your data feed separately from them. In fact, each of the above trading firms gets their data feed through either S&P or PC Quote. So, you see how tight a family it is. CyberTrader is the renegade in that they have created their own software to deliver the data. They are reputed to have faster executions, but weaker charts. PPS I forgot--I have also used "The Executioner". I would not recommend them. PPPS Guard against "overtrading" when you first start.
