I've been a member of BMG Music for 3 or 4 years now and today, for the 3rd day in a row, would you believe,they telephoned hawking a deal where one receives 9 free CD's for buying 3 at the full price of $16.98 +shipping.

That indicates that it's getting harder and harder to maintain sales. I know, I know, we're not in the CD business.

The power of THE CARD is becoming more and more evident.

Yes Sword, I agree CCI is entering the market with a 2nd generation business and marketing plan. Being one of the low cost providers along with the low overhead necessary to do business will give CCI one leg up on the competition. By the time the competition can respond, the overburdening of their current business model due to their excessive expenses may have forever placed them in the third tier.

The one aspect of of the Card business we have not seen yet due to the lengthy closing time required is the true corporate useage of the MusicCard and PromoCard. The corporate uses of the PromoCard in combimation with the promotion and sale of their products can have astounding volume exposure to CCI. Not only will CCI get paid while the corporation advertises and promotes the use of CCI as a CD provider, they will place in the hands of millions of purchasers of their products the Card. Simply call in and activate the Card and purchase CDs.
