It's just a fact of the stock market. Darling stocks like GE, KO, etc when you compare market value to fundamental value over a period of time tend to be about three years out. Right now KO is about eight years out. But this is a very overvalued market. Then again may be the times have changed. May be we have rampant stock price inflation or something. May be the stock market will go straight up forever and a day and we will all be billionaires.

I made a lot of assumptions and gave the Companies the best value that I could muster.

You are right that they will not teach that in business school. Who cares.
