AMZN the e-tailer? I suppose all those catalogue companies are going to roll over and play dead? Catalogues sell something like $50 billion a year and yet they know nothing about marketing which will let them dominate e-tailing? Year after year AMZN will make all their accumulated marketing abilities irrelevant?

AMZN is a little league company with a big league stock price.

<<MZN is selling books for now but it is about e-tailing in the long run. So your question about book sales and the future of e-tailing does not jive >>

Got a good point, but I was really interested in the answer and I thought you knew it.

OK then...have another question.

AMZN market value is near $30B or 1/6 Walmart market value of $180B.

AMZN has annual SALES of less than $500M.. WMT has profits of $4 Billions or 8 times AMZN annual sales.

When do you think AMZN will make annual profits of..lets say $600-$700 millions...so it will justify its current market cap.. ???
