Here's another idiotic management decision. Shopping.com was, of course, taken public by the shady investment bank Waldron, which then proceeded to pump and dump the stock. It was later revealed that Waldron itself accounted for some 90% of Shopping.com's pre-IPO revenue.

Yeah, well my first foray into shorting was the internet sector. Lost a fortune, made a fortune, lost, made, on and on.
Ended up making a hell of a lot of money (covered all shorts today) but am on a first name basis with the liquor store delivery man and my Malox bill has skyrocketed.
Stepped in front of a freight train and lived to tell about it but will never be critical of a short seller again. They have more guts than I.
