Steven, I am sitting there with 2 side by side and no luck. I always restart to be sure the cache is cleared when I have any type problem. The real problem is Schwab. One of my machines I dial into a completely different ISP in a different city. I also have the E Schwab software where I do not acccess them thru the net. I have no doubt that I was hitting them via different routes.

Stephen: The URL's the same on both machines.... but the path to the destination seems already defined and related to the time I made the bookmark.

I was having trouble with E*Trade logging on and one of the tech people (low level I might add) was trying to tell me the same thing. Bull Sh...

I totally disagree. Think about it...when you dial your telephone, from a memory dialer, do you really think that it has something to do with routing the call?

If the two URLs are exactly the same, then it should not matter. URL's don't route you there, they just tell your ISP where you want to go.

Clear you temp files often and don't forget to delete those cookies often...keeps your browser light and clean! Of course, it you have set preferences at some web sites, you will loose those that are set in a cookie.
