Richard, I've been wrestling over how to 'meld' our Technical side with the Fundamental side. This has been a perplexing problem for some time. MSWin doesn't allow for any screening on fundamental information, such as EPS, or debt ratio, etc.

Now I think I have a possible answer that I want to bounce off of you. The idea is to use a technical *proxy* for the fundamental side!! One such proxy might be where in the yearly price range the stock is trading. Set up some lower floor, and don't touch stocks trading below it. Let's say 40% If a stock is trading at least at 40% of its 52-week range, then it passes the fundamental test by proxy.

By using such a system (or addition to a system), one could avoid those companies that the market has deemed losers, and that seem likely to go bankrupt or something.

What do you think?
