Where a stock is trading as nothing to do with funnymentals. The price and funnymentals don't correlate. It wouldn't be that bad of a filter. That is what a number of TA indicators do - find the strong stocks. you would still have to review 1000's.

Look at net stocks - no funnymentals at all. Only madness of crowd. But run an exploration, and see.

If someone thinks funnymentals mean anything then go Canslim.
