rudedog:<virus screen: get good package, on line, profiles, every night> Done. Easy. Thank you. (Costco sells these, and I am addicted to Costco anyway.) **OT**My idea of a good time, is to drop into any of a series of Costcos here. Each appeals to a different ethnic market. I enjoy customers, as well as feeling the goods. Amzn will never be able to duplicate Costco, or restore pianos....

rudedog: <be careful what you wish for> I'm afraid the pianist/chef also likes to mud wrestle. Was in Russian ballet. I am in big trouble. I think I better get back to trading.

Re: NGIO

It looks like the NGIO spec has 4 times as much bandwidth as you thought. Apparently, 4 of these channels can be ganged together to achieve a 10 GBit/sec transfer rate. That is equivalent to a 1.25 Gbyte/sec tranfesr rate which is about 9 times that of the current PCI bus. So it looks viable as an alternative to the CPQ/IBM/HWP proprietary bus proposal.
