Thanks Trev, also to those that responded privately.
Looks like you've got to be a little "careful going forward with this crew" seems to be the advice I'm getting.

Hello Trev

Just discovered this e-mail received over Christmas. Was asked to forward the message to you on this thread.

Vaughn,

I'm not a paid up memeber of SI and so cannot make postings, but
perjhaps you could inform the Lytton thread, and particularly Fred and
Trev of the following:

Re: Howard Miller
1. He never sells shares (indeed I believe he has NEVER) of any company
on which he is on the board.
2. Howard did not preside over the fall from Grace of Lytton - indeed
he was the ONLY shareholder who took some positive action to change
things as you know - this was at his own considerable expense - legal,
proxy costs etc etc.
3. Howard was the TOP South African corporate lawyer with an impeccable
reputation. If you want a reference for this go straight to the top at
Anglo.
4.Re Kearney - he is no mate of Miller. He was a Dobson nominee under
the old regime and was simply inherited by Miller for some continuity.
Agreed he is bad.
5. Nelson - phenomenol project. Share price is very poor but the
market does not like small gold producers (100,000 ounces)in Tajikistan.
The market does like Miller as you can tell by the institutions that
follow him. Also for the first time Canadians are buying Lytton. Dundee
are backing Miller. Ned Goodman has too much to lose than to back a bad
egg.
6. Miller has been buying both Nelson and Lytton. He believe it takes
10 years to build a good mining venture. He is no speculator - try
checking for his inside trades on Canada stockwatch - the guy never
sells. He only buys in two companies. One day value will be achieved
in both Lytton and Nelson.

Regards
L. H.
