I was talking about the 486 days.
A few years ago (before the pentium) AMD was pretty much 50% of the x86 market. Yes, 50% OFTHE THE WHOLE MARKET.

Perhaps you are thinking about the current market.
Last quarter expectations are for market size of 33M CPU's with Intel at 28M and AMD at 5.5M.

AMD is currently about 25% of the market in Q4 98 up from less than 5% in Q1 98.

Sit back, relax and wait and see where we will be by end of 99.

NO NO NO, you misunderstood him, he has 4 PC's in his house, 2 of those have AMD inside, that's 50%, he is correct.
