I'm the kind of optimist that looks at the positive side of everything, but at these valuations, Howard Hughes comes to mind...

When Mr. Hughes was asked by a reporter how he made his enormous wealth. Mr. Hughes responded "Quite simply ---- Buy when everyone was selling, and sell when everyone was buying."

Thanks for the replies and ideas on a put strategy. My
broker at Merrill seemed to agree with me, of course why
wouldn't he? I do trust his judgement very much.

Let's hope for a little run-up from here and then a nice
30-50% correction thereafter.
