Where do you think this leaves COMS and XYLN? Any thoughts there.

PnF wise, any weakness in CSCO or LU would be a nice opportunity to buy. Both are extended on their charts after an incredible run.

I didn't know Lucent didn't offer stock options. Blasphemy!

Don't know if you know me by this name, I used to be Tom D. (not Dorsey). Anyway how's it going?

Whereas I agree with you that the cultures will be difficult to meld. Both NT and LU are doing things to remedy the stock option policy discrepancy between the acquired companies and the parent. These policies may not be implemented yet, but they will be soon.

But, of course, I agree that CSCO made the right decision.
